Abstract
The general objective of this study was to evaluate early intervention strategies that are effective and feasible, grounded in scientific and technological evidence, to promote social, communicative, and motor development in five-year-old children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) traits. A quantitative study with a descriptive scope was conducted using a questionnaire validated through expert judgment (n = 39) in the field of educational psychology. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, the coefficient of variation, and Spearman’s correlation. Results showed a moderate positive appraisal of strategies related to assistive technologies and strengthening social development; however, high dispersion was observed in responses, indicating a lack of consensus among experts. Nevertheless, statistically significant correlations were identified across the assessed dimensions, suggesting the need to implement integrated strategies. The study concludes that effective early intervention requires specialized teacher training and the design of combined interventions aligned with child development needs and timely detection in educational contexts.
