The role of didactics in the online course second language acquisition (SLA): its function in the synchronic sessions.

Abstract
The following work analyzes the role of Didactics in the virtualization through the development of synchronic sessions in the online course Second Language Acquisition. This course focu- ses on the theories and factors that support the English language learning and knowledge of the teachers ́ functions to lead the students ́ learning. The analytical-synthetic, inductive-de- ductive, and hermeneutic-dialectical methods were used for the analysis and interpretation of the data processed, derived from the bibliography and pedagogical experiences in the virtuali- zation. It is evident the need to deepen into the role of Didactics and novel forms of teaching and self-learning at a distance, with methods that encourage the effective assimilation of the contents.
