Artificial Intelligence Mediated Activity System to Strengthen Mathematics Learning in Sixth Grade of Basic Education

Abstract
This study examines learning difficulties in sixth-grade Mathematics and proposes an AI-mediated activity system to strengthen students’ logical-mathematical skills. A mixed-methods descriptive, non-experimental, field-based approach was applied to a sample of 26 students and one teacher. Surveys, observations, and diagnostic tests were used to identify learning needs, and AI-based educational tools were integrated to design personalized activities. Results show improvements in basic operations, problem-solving skills, and motivation toward Mathematics. The study demonstrates that incorporating artificial intelligence into classroom practices promotes more dynamic, individualized, and meaningful learning experiences. These findings highlight the potential of AI-mediated strategies to enhance academic performance and support innovation in Mathematics education.
