Family businesses undergo constant changes driven by various factors such as generational succession, expansion, and the professionalization of roles, among others. These transformational elements directly impact the organizational climate, making effective emotional management crucial for the individuals within the organization. Considering that leaders must embody the corporate DNA and are responsible for guiding the direction of the company throughout any change process, it becomes essential for emotional intelligence to be integrated as a core competency within the leadership structure, as it contributes to sound decision-making and effective team management.
