The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between resilience and self-esteem levels present in drug-dependent patients of the Maranatha women's therapeutic community in the Portoviejo canton. The research is exploratory-descriptive; the methods used were analysis and synthesis. An intentional sample of 26 patients with alcohol and drug problems was found, the inclusion criteria were between 18 and 23 years of age, a minimum of three months in the rehabilitation process. In addition, the Rosemberg self-esteem scale was used to assess the person's feelings of well-being of himself and also the SV-RES60 scale that allows measuring resilience levels. It is shown that the patients present and average level of self-esteem and a medium level of resilience as they adapt to the therapeutic procedure. It can be corroborated if there is a relationship between levels of resilience and multimedia self- esteem that favors the rehabilitation process of patients.
